We are traveling across the state celebrating 100 years of the Oregon State University Extension Service with the people and businesses that have made it possible. It’s going to be an adventure.
From June 22-30, three OSU representatives will tour the state, stopping in at Extension County offices, local businesses, farms, and community hubs to award businesses and individuals with Community Impact Awards. OSU Extension faculty nominated the awardees based upon their ongoing support for OSU Extension and their involvement in civic engagement.
The tour is part of the celebration of OSU Extension’s centennial anniversary, and it’s also a personal thank you to the partners and people who support OSU Extension and their local communities by contributing to the delivery of educational opportunities across the state.
The Orange Tour kicks off with stops in Lane, Douglas, Coos and Curry counties. From there, the tour heads to southern Oregon, then crosses the Cascades and visits central and eastern Oregon before ending in Corvallis. To view a full schedule of tour stops and a list of award recipients, visit the trip map.
